As a bit of an incentive, here is the latest recipe that I have tweaked until it tastes just right. We had a thread a week or so ago asking for a subsitute for the famous Starbucks frap. Here is my version and it is something you can indulge in regularly!

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
4 large ice cubes
2/3 cup coffee (warm or cooled)
2/3 cup milk, skim
2 teaspoons Splenda

Put Splenda in blender or smoothie jar. Drop in ice cubes and blend till the ice is crushed. Pour coffee over the ice and add the milk. Here's the fun part, if you have DaVinci syrups, put a tablespoon of your favorite flavor in for a great new taste. I love Kalua or raspberry. You can also use your favorite flavored coffee creamer for a flavor boost. This tastes so much like my favorite Starbucks and I can make 10 of them for the price of one! Celadon's note: I found that the secret to this recipe is to be sure that you use as much milk as you do coffee. If you prefer lowfat or 2% milk, by all means use it. I use fat free lactose free milk.

This is such a great subsitute for Starbucks!!!!

For mocha, just add a tablespoon of good, dark cocoa. It will add only 20 calories, 0g fat, 3g carbs, 2g fiber, and 1g protein.
