Click to view attachmentThis is me and my little niece Abby - isn't she adorable!!! We were at an Easter Egg hunt at Miss Julie's house.

Regina asked: "can we insert pics into these posts? I will ask Kaye and her buddy Scoop-Diddy"

So here's how you do it. Open "New Topic" > Click Browse and find the photo you want to add; double-click to insert > Click Add this Attachment > After it uploads you have the option "insert into post" > Click that. Should work super-slick!

Scoop-Diddy has gone skiing today!!! I noticed he signed on last night so when he comes out of hiding everyone be really nice to him! He's a ton of fun and knows EVERYTHING about this stuff! I bet he can tell us how to resize the photos for better viewing!
Regina
I think I figured it out!

Great, you will see lots of silly pics from me now, you have "unleased the monster"!
Kaye
Oh - and this is one of my favorite of your pictures! You know, we bought a "Gallery" program too that Scoop-Diddy will install. We will all get tons of room to put all kinds of "LIVING" pictures!!!! Celebrations of our new life! :) Looking forward to your pics!
Kim
Click to view attachmentThe tulip picture!!! I bought some of these cards from Regina...let me tell you all, they are just fabulous! This picture that I've attached (or tried to...we'll see if it works) is of my Rosie in the Spring last year. She makes me smile :D
Kaye
Shoot, Kim, just saying the name "ROSIE" makes me smile! She's beautiful and it worked BRILLIANTLY!
Regina
I came across a photo of me from a couple summers ago. I can hardly believe it is me! The gallery will be a cool place to be able to visually track our progress.

Kaye, have I told you that I LOVE this place?

Kim Your pooch is gorgeous, and a really good photo sitter! Did you coax her with treats to get that smile?

So glad you liked the cards! I wonder who has more fun, you getting them or me creating them!

I agree with Regina...I have a picture of myself that stuns me. It's one of those, "How did that ever happen" pictures. I also agree that I LOVE this place! wub.gif
Kaye
:D I have my "before" pictures in a box that is wrapped with duck tape! I hate those pictures!!!! They make me sad, though I should be happy of how far I've come.

wub.gif Shucks! I'm glad you gals like this place! I can't believe how fast it's taken off! Makes me feel happy, proud, loved, excited, scared and just a bit BRILLIANT! wub.gif

Here's a pic of one of my crochet projects. I made her for my grandmother for Christmas. Dolls were always her specialty. I got the doll at the thrift store. She stands about 2 feet high and is porcelain. The dress is about a foot and half wide at the base. It proudly sits on it's own table inside a display case my dad made in Mama Wins' room at the assisted living facility. This pic really doesn't do it justice. When we get the gallery, I'll add some more stuff there.

Kaye, I told you months ago a forum is just what you needed. I definitely needed it. I guess the people over at the crochet forum think I fell off the face of the earth. I'm here all the time now. I'll have to pop in soon just to see the new patterns.

wub.gif I LOVE this place too.

I love all ya'lls photos.

Kim I'm a big animal lover myself. I've been scouring the local shelters trying to find myself a little dog.

Kaye, I don't mind the before pics too much, because I still see that same image when ever I look into a mirror. I was heavy most of my life, over 40 yrs!! I just don't seem to be able to wrap my mind around the fact that I'm not that size now.

Yes, she is just like her mother...food makes both of us smile. One of the best smiles that I got out of her was with a plate of macaroni and cheese.
Kaye
:) Kim - can I have some mac & cheese? You know how I wub.gif the pasta!

OK- that was a joke folks! :D - Kim knows pasta makes me wicked-bad-sick!

And in other news, have you all figured out if you click on the picture you can see it bigger??? OK - I just got it!! HEY - I'm a writer, not a web-geek! (That's for you Scoop-Diddy)
Kaye
 Diane - - I missed this post of your crocheted doll! She looks just lovely and you are so talented!!! Call me silly but I didn't even know there was a crochet forum! :) AND - thanks for the early advice many moons ago that a forum was a MUST for us LivingAfterWLS folks! You were on target with that advice, as you are with all your advice! wub.gif

My goodness Diane your chrocheted doll is abosolutely gorgeous. Once I get settled in San Antonio I'ld like to start crocheting again.I've always wanted to make a doll. Please share pictures of projects you have completed. I am also a crafter. For the past couple weeks my husband and I have been having issues as he is not allowing me to take call my craft stuff which I can't blame him as I have tons of stuff. Just have to start gathering stuff again once we settled.

I feel pretty silly right now :P

You guys all have nice little thumbnail size pics  , and when I introduced myself, I inserted the picture a little differently, and it turned out huge :o?

I just clicked on the symbol with the tree at the top of the text box that says "insert image".

Hmmmm :( ? maybe I should have done it your way...the smaller pic is much more flattering of my pre-op butt!

Thanks for the tips ;)

Mae :)
Kaye
 I'm the one who feels SiLlY for not knowing my own program!!! :P

Ok, looks like you need to have the picture uploaded to the WWW somewhere and then it's good to link with the green tree icon above! Thanks Mae - - You are AWESOME!!!

People either love Martha Stewart or they hate her, but my favorite quote from her is, "Learn Something New Everyday!"

Thanks Mae, Thanks Martha! wub.gif

I have tried this, Kaye, but for some reason or another it just leaves me with a blank. Once the pic is downloaded and I Add attachement the next option to insert this post is not there. I may be blind! B) Ill keep trying. I love this idea.

Click to view attachmentI can't seem to figure it out, but I included a pic of myself in my profile if anyone is interested. I do have a before shot but need a little more 'splaning on how to add photos.

I think I figured it out, let's see.

That was before, Can't get the after in.
Kaye
HI Tami and Ginny!

I think one of the problems is that we are doing so much work on the background side of this it's freakin' out the front side! That would be technical talk btw. . . Thanks for trying! Stay tuned for the gallery feature.

Mae
Kaye,

I have my own love/hate relationship with Miss Martha! So I totally understand! I do love that quote!

For the most part the green tree thing was just a lucky guess...

We are blessed enough to get to learn together!

Mae wub.gif
