BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP *I make a meal out of this*

2 cans chunk chicken
2 8oz. bricks of cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. Franks hot sauce
1-1/2c. shredded cheddar cheese

Mix in large bowl. Pour into greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly, about 25 minutes. Serve hot. As a dip, serve with celery sticks or sturdy crackers. I just eat it with a spoon. This makes a large batch.

Actually, our wonder princess Marla submitted them all in OneTallMama's name in the cookbook while I was out today. Three cheers for Marla!

I just made this - only a half batch though. I added a can of black beans and this is a delicious meal! Could only eat a few bites, but what great flavor!

I think it sounds delicious! cant wait to try it. cool0012.gif

My sister made this for our family Christmas party. The only difference was that she didn't put any shredded cheese in it, and she added 1 cup of Ranch dressing. (I was considering using low fat / fat-free products in it but I haven't tried it yet. I don't always like how those taste. Have you made it with any of the LF/FF cheeses?)

The men especially ate it up, and they didn't leave any leftovers. I ate it with celery sticks. YUM!

OMG this sounds sooo good and I like the beans addition! Gonna whip this up real soon! love-smiley-011.gif

When I made this, the guys totally loved it. They want it for Super Bowl Sunday and I am going to make it because it is about the only thing I will be able to eat among all the 'stuff' they eat during the game. I think I will add refried beans to it.

Posted Jan 13 2008, 09:09 PMBndsmom....I personally would not use the ff cheese or dressing cause it simply is not good for the body.......it's like taking a tupperware bowl and burying it in the backyard hoping it will eventually decompose...NOT....same goes for ff stuff, our bodies don't know how to process it...that's just me............... You do what you need to do. Hugs! love0028.gif

OTHM: This looks perfect for superbowl wings with out the breading. Thank you!!! I'll definately be making this for the hungry gamer watchers tomorrow!

So David is having a house warming and Super Bowl party next door tomorrow. I already have this made and ready to bake tomorrow in his oven. I also made Lee's Firecracker Meatball's so there will be plenty of hot stuff to go around! This dip is delicious and so easy to make! Also, I know that there is something there that I can eat.

I have a quick question about the recipe. Just want to know what size can of chicken and a good brand. I've never used can chicken before. Can't wait to try it!!!!!
OneTallMama
Kisha,

I use the larger canned chicken. I can't tell you the brand, but it is the only thing I can get here. Costco sells them in packs of 6 I think. I use them all the time. I'm not sure what the oz. are on the can. Our store has one a little larger than a reg. tuna can, and a big one. I use the bigger one.
