Okay So I know I am sure that everyone has answered this question a million times, but I have been searching and reading old posts/topics and have found a few protein shake ideas but I havent found as many as I would like. I was wondering if anyone could post their fav. recipe of their shake or a link or something? Sorry if this annoys anyone

Sarah, don't worry about too many questions. The only silly ones are the ones you don't ask!!! I love that thread that Ang gave you the link to. It has so many great ideas for shakes. You will never get tired of so many combinations! You only get tired of them when you choose the same one over and over again.

Ang! Thanks for the link!! I am going to try the one with coffee and vanilla protein! I am a little nervous, but excited for something new! I have just been doing the plain skim milk and protein powder! SOOO tired of those lol!! I was wondering how I would be able to make it through! I also got some light peanut butter and was thinkin about tomorrow trying to mix it with some chocolate protein..?? I am not allowed to have fresh fruit for a while and so I looked for some frozen bannanas at wal mart but had no luck :(! So I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some.. Remember though I am in Oklahoma so stores are limited lol!!

I just had a chocolate w/ peanut butter shake for the first time. Really good!
However, I made more than Lucille wanted & I am really, really full right now.

really?? GOOD!! lol I am definately excited to try that... what were the measurments that u put in?? I think I am going to wait until Wednesday which is when I am able to start soft foods to try that recipe though... Just to be safe I would rather wait (b/c of the PB) I bet you are full.. Well peanut butter is filling anyway... I have to admit I did like the coffee and vanilla powder.. I was a little nervous because I dont really like change all that much but I was glad to change.. I need to name my pouch!! hmm.... Well it is storming here and there are tornado watches so I think I am going to shut down the lap top for the night... and I am tired...
P.S I got some chocolate soy milk today and I think I am gonna try it.. I am allowed to have it and it will be something different and it doesnt have a ton but it will help get some liquid out of the way and there are 7g of protein... Every little bit helps right?? well goodnight everyone! Sleep good!

I did my regular hot chocolate shake:
2 c. very warm water
3 tbsp Sugar free Swiss Miss
1 scoop Unjury chocolate protein supplement
added: 1 tbsp peanut butter
I think the peanut butter just put me over the top. I can usually sip on the 2 cups and be fine, but this was too much. Next time I'll do 1 1/2 c. water w/ 2 tbsp Swiss Miss & same amount of protein & pb.
I'm also thinking, if you're just going to soft foods, you might want to hold off on the pb for awhile. I seem to remember my nutritionist telling me to wait awhile for it. I waited 2 1/2 mos.
