There is a lot of commercialism involved in this site but the interesting thing is all the videos from real people that have undergone WLS. It also makes me appreciate the LACK of advertizing here in the neighborhood. We should all thank our lucky stars that this is where WE call home. The atmosphere is so different!

Absolutely celadon! And The Forum area has been down for months... I check around every now and then.
This Neighborhoodis truly "home."
I checked out both the video and the website and totally agree w/ what Celadon said.
Like Carnie, I had my surgery in CA. Right around the time she had it done, she had posted her e-mail address somewhere and I e-mailed her about my experience. Imagine my surprise when she e-mailed me back. 
We e-mailed a few times back and forth, but for some reason it fell off (and I couldn't tell you her e-mail now as it's been so long - if I remember correctly, it had something to do with wiley coyote (silly!)). Anyway, thanks for posting this link. It makes me feel a bit like a stalker, but I like seeing how she's doing - mostly because we've been through the same things now post WLS (marriage, baby, post-baby weight gain 
, etc).
