Hey Steamer,
I am having my WLS in the morning, bright and early at 6am. I just wanted to let you know about a book I bought that I found very helpful. Its the Weight Loss Surgery Book for Dummies. It really answered a lot of questions for me. I just received it in the mail , wish I would have gotten it sooner and I would have known what to expect at the preop. It covers it all from just thinking about having the surgery all the way until you get home and afterwards. The part I espeically liked right now was about what to expect in the hospital. It even has dietplans for the different stages and recipes. Be as informed as possilbe.

Steamer, good luck with your surgery! If you don't have WLS for Dummies (see Denise's note above), I found it at Barnes and Noble and it's on Amazon, of course. Lots of great information, Denise is right on!Will keep you in my prayers.
I didn't get my copy of Weight Loss for Dummies until after surgery, but I have found lots of information in it just the same.
