I keep getting an error message/20 second warning, no matter what I do, when I try to 'view new posts'. I have logged out and logged back in. I have gone away and come back, still nothing.

Glad to know you are aware of the problem.
I still can't get in today after several tries, but I'll be patient, knowing this is for the good of the neighborhood! LOL

Sorry guys -- it takes a little time to get these things fixed.
Try using the "Today's Active Topics" at the bottom of the page, it seems to be working fine.
Also, have any of you noticed odd dating behavior? (Time dating, Kim!

) Check this screen print from just a few minutes ago:

The only good I see in this is the election coverage would be over!

I thought I was going crazy when I wrote a post and clicked view new and only 2 showed up! I was like there was 50 of them a minute ago. Come on Techies!

I am a lazy poster!

Hang in there friends. We are still having to search the old fashioned way for new posts. At least we don't have to send messages by 'snail mail'!!! Today's active topics is still working though. Have a good one everybody.

"todays active topics" doesn't work for me either. Bummer. I'll survive! I'm sure that I've missed some things, but if they're important, they'll come back around!

I think we should all chip in and buy the techies a round of golf!

Sandi...I'm thinking that once this is done, they will most likely want a round of drinks!

Okay I re-coded the SQL search language and both the "View New Posts" and "Today's Active Posts" are functioning properly. If you continue to have problems please reset your "cookies". Also, I have flood control in place to prevent spamming so repeated clicks while waiting for pages to open will slow-down loadtimes and may log a user out of the system. If this happens close your browser and re-open it and log back in.
Also if you have not made the switch over FireFox now is the time. It is more compatible with the Neighborhood forums. Go here to download it for free:
