Kaye has so kindly shown a lot of confidence in my skills and not being one to sit on her laurels, I am going to start two new features here in the Community Kitchen to introduce some of you to a whole new world. It is the world of fruits and vegetables! The government has this great website that I have gone to for years and it has some very exotic plant life to be sure. However, most of these fruits and veggies are readily available in local markets if you aren't too far away from civilization. At least check out the thread each month and learn something! There are always recipes added and they are complete with nutritional information and I will try during the course of the month to add a recipe or two of my own using the fruit or vegetable as the star.
