My name is misty. I am 31 years old ,mother of 2 I have a son 15 and a daughter 9. at this point i tip the scale at 320. We own horses and my kids trail ride and show. I know it breaks my daughters heart when i tell her i cant go out on the trail with them as much as it does mine. we got the horses 4 years ago and ive rode with them twice. It makes me want to cry to know by this summer ill be back on the trail with them as a famiiy instead of being camp chef. I just graduated from nursing school in december with my lpn and am exited about starting my new career after my surgery. I finally feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel. Being approved for this surgery has givin me the strength to leave a very abusive relationship. I feel like there is a life waiting for me to live now. instead of dying everyday in the one i had. thanks for all your wonderful comments and support. having surgery scares me to death but i know with all the support and hope i have now for the future everything will work out great.

Thanks for giving us some info on YOU! So excited that you have a date. You won't believe how quickly you begin to feel better. I am amazed everyday!

We have had so many arrivals scheduled recently. I am keeping a list so I can pray for the person having WLS. I added you for 2/15 (from your profile date of arrival).

So far I have: Denise had hers 1/14, Doug 1/18, Leah 1/21
Scheduled are: Darien 1/31, Keshla 2/4, Steamer 2/5, Horsinurse 2/15, Fuzzy 2/26 and Ro is having hip surgery in February also (need the date on that one). If anyone else is scheduled & would like to be on my list for prayer, please let me know.

Hi and welcome to the neighborhood! As time goes by and you do your research here, you will be more comfortable with the idea of your surgery. You have already done yourself the biggest favor by getting out of a bad relationship. You have accomplished a career goal and are looking forward to the summer riding with the kids. What a great life is in store for you! Much success and I hope you will be around often!

the 15 was just a guess on my date but i found out my real date is feb 18 monday presidents day . i am scared to death. thanks for the prayer
