Since we have some new Neighbors, I'll give a few quick ideas...

Anything between $5-$15 and yes, I know it would be cruel to send Chocolate. Try to think of something fun about the neighbor who you'll receive--something funny. I know we don't have names drawn yet, but I try to read back through the past posts and see a funny item or two that may have been a topic of "can't resist". It keeps me re-reading, it gets me acquainted with others and it spurs questions for me to ask.

Also Veteran Neighborhood swapsters... what are some of the funny things you have rec'd? For example, I know that Marla loves sheep...... so Marla, let's here it! You loved your gift, huh!?

How come we don't have any men signing up for our latest event? We promise that we'll keep it clean!!!

Yes, it is true... I love sheep! I love sheep as much as I love penguins. Lynn pays attention. She sent me a Christmas Sheep keychain and I love it. Also, the purple pashmina Darien sent me in The Holiday Quickie Swap was way too perfect!

I can't wait for this swap... Theay are always fun!

Hey I think that is a nice idea, especially if the sender lives in a part of the world that has (like we do, Starbucks in Seattle) (or history, etc.) something that the recipient might be interested in. I think it is a great way to reach out and get to know each other. That is what neighbors are for!!!

I have also learned that it is kind of neat to also include something from your own part of the country/world. I had sent along a postcard from Michigan along with the keychains and the comment was made that that was really nice.
