Are the recipes that are posted weekly best, in your opinion, for those that are still losing weight, or those that are trying to sustain their current weight?

Celadon
Marianna, that is a very good question and it shows that you are paying attention. A lot of people post recipes here and many of them are in maintenance. I think that you should just use your own judgement when looking at the ingredients. You will most likely know if this is something you should have or not. Since I too am in the losing phase still, I really look at a recipe before I try it and if I think I shouldn't have it yet, it goes in a 'later' file. If you aren't sure, just ask me and I will let you know. I will also try to remember to put a note on any recipe that I post if it isn't suited for those of us in the losing phase.

I tend to make whatever my family wants to eat so I have to work around that. For example, if I am making spaghetti, I just eat the meat sauce with cheese on top and don't eat the pasta or the garlic bread. You can still cook for others, just make sure that you put your portion aside before you add in things you shouldn't be eating or omit them from your plate when serving.

Thank you...I will make sure to pay special attention to the ingredients, and start a second binder for 'later' recipes as well!
