Hey Kaye, Larry and everyone behind the scenes...
I
love the new format and the navigation ability. Everything is so easy to find.
It is evident that you have worked day and night. I can see that somethings are still in the working stage, so
I can't wait to see the finished product.
I love this Neighborhood!!! It is the BOMB! (or is that not the correct term these days... my teens are long gone...)

I have to toss my two cents in here too and say WAY TO GO GUYS!!! I love green <as I am sure it is obvious by my signature>, and everything is so easy to find. Well worth the issues sometimes getting on that there is such a fabulous result!

I appreciate the hard work you are all doing.
I'll be glad when I can click that "View New Posts" and will actually get the posts I haven't read.
The green skin...not liking it so much. I will look forward to having some choice in what skin to use. But, that's just my personal preference. LOL

My mom gave me the middle name of...Almond. Yes, Almond...<shaking my head>. She said she ate them so much when pregnant that I was lucky my first name wasn't Chocolate Covered!

Hi Neighbors!
I am glad that most of you are enjoying the new look/skin. We specifically selected green as our predominant color because green is the color of LIVING and GROWTH. In the future we may add some other skin options, but each upgrade is expensive and we wanted something to truly represent the hope and growth and promise of LivingAfterWLS. The ribbon rainbow of our logo represents hope and promise and colorful future without being cliche ---- I hope you like it and feel your life full of ribbons of color.
We have tried multiple times to recreate the "view new posts" and "today's active topics" links to simulate the error and have not identified the problem. We have a ticket in with the IPB (Invision Power Board) help desk and hope to get this resolved soon. Sorry folks, for the delay.
Thanks everyone for the feedback and patience as we work on the new Neighborhood landscape.

Kaye, it is wonderful to have the new look up and running and I know that we will all still come and post in spite of a little change in the way we do it for the time being. It truly is easier to navigate the site and as you know, the ribbons are my favorite!
Good luck to you and the guys and thanks millions for all the hours you are putting in.

Kaye... I feel like you should charge us all a Green Fee! You chose my favorite color!
Green is the color of Spring.. and new life. Love it!

Thanks to all!

Check your settings in your My Controls and make sure you have the date set correctly for your time zone. I just checked the acp and the settings are correct. Clicking on new posts is working for me?

Larry,
I checked & they are OK. This is what I think is the problem: One day there was a post from Gina that had the date wrong, Sept. 18, 2009. It set my last visit as that date. Since there are no posts after that date, View New Posts doesn't link to any new posts. If the date of my last visit is reset I think it will work. Some people didn't look at that post & so they are not having problems. Would be worth looking into.???

Hey Larry...just an FYI...I've deleted my cookies and still have the date and new post issue. I'm crossing my fingers and toes that the people at IBP take good care of Kaye this week! Thanks for designing such a pretty new skin.

I swear to you all that my puter has the correct time and date of Jan 21 2008 @ 2:26 am. Anyway everyone who worked on this new way of life for us, I just wanted to say

!!!! This is soooo cool and I personally love the green as it is easier on the eyes than white! Thanks to Kaye and the Tech team!

Did the cookies & re-log in. No help.
Can you re-set my date & time of last visit?
Gina: I don't think it was your computer, but there is a post in here from you that shows a 2009 date & that is the date that my last visit shows. I'd almost bet if the rest who are having trouble check their date of last visit that it is the same as mine. Technology is great...when it is working!!! LOL

I ran an sql query that reset all last_visit times. Let me know if that fixed issue.
