Hey! I'm STILL on it (LOL). I'm still doing liquids/soups througout the day and incorporating day 3 & day 4 proteins for dinner (it's been 8 days now - i think). Today has been an odd day...
coffee with SF creamer
coffee with milk and SF syrup (coffee shop - i forgot to tell the girl NF milk. oops)
Lunch: 3 shrimp! (LOL!!! I'm stuffed on 3 shrimp!)
Dinner: Pumpkin/sausage soup (I started making it for lunch but realized I forgot to buy pumpkin. So...waiting until DH gets home with the pumpkin).
Not the best day regarding caffeine, but I'm o.k. with that for now.

Woohoo Amelia! Keep up the great work...and where did you find sf mint pudding? I am jealous! Honestly, I went off my second 5dpt today. With everything going on, it was too stressful, and nothing was staying down. Right now, I am just playing it by ear, and trying to get protein and liquids in.But, I am still here to cheer you on!!!

when I'm looking through the 5dpt, I see Cream of Turkey soup for days 1 and 2...but cannot locate the recipe...any help on this please?

Kyndablond....so sorry, but no I couldn't find a recipe either....I can tell you that the Pumpkin and Sausage and the Black Bean soups are both VERY yummers! Ummm, the only "posted" recipe for Turkey and Chicken I could find on the 5dpt were both for "salad" and for day 3...so sorry, Maybe an older(older to LAWLS) veteran can help you...or it may be something that's in the Cookbook....
Day 3 for me:
~1 egg with 2T cottage cheese (only ate about 2/3 of this)
~20oz "Fulfill" Water...SF
~16oz water
~8oz Mocha Cap Protein drink 10g protein
~12oz Coffee w/cream & splenda
~16oz Herb Tea
~about 6-7oz Broc/cheese soup...homemade...15g protein
~8oz Mint chocolate fudge protein shake(made w/SF Jello pudding and milk)...32g protein
~20oz Water CL
~6oz Black bean soup w/2oz cottage. cheese...18g protein
~2oz Black bean soup w/2oz cottage cheese...10g protein
~Pure Protein PB protein bar....20g protein
~16oz Herb tea

DAY 4 so far....
~1/2 c beef & cheese (beef was shaved roast beef almost same texture as ground beef)

~32oz herb tea

Day 4 cont'd....
~about 3-4 oz Ranch burger with colby jack cheese(1/2 oz)...NO BREAD OR CONDIMENTS...
~20 oz water
~3 SF Philly swirl popsicles....(10 cal each; 1.75 oz ea)
~1 SF popsicle...(1.75 oz; 10 cal)
~Grilled Salmon/shrimp...tiny salad w/cheese& bacon bits
~20 oz Water w/lemon
~Protein shake...(33g protein)
~16 oz herb tea
~SF popsicle

I am planning on doing sorta the 5 day thing except at the end of the 5 days i am just going to stay on it!!!
My coffee consumption im sure is bad i do 2 10 cup pots a day.

Adam: That is way too much coffee. My DH used to drink it like that & developed problems w/ his urinary system. Wean yourself down...a lot! You don't need blood in your urine before you decide to back off a little. How's that for a neighborly kick in the pants! Please be careful.

Ok yes thats a eye opener!!! Would decaf work? i could do decaf but i LIKE my hot coffee. When its not so cold i drink alot of the walmart knock of of crystal light ice tea. My liquids on a normal day are atleast 128oz.

Decaf is what my DH had to go to, but 20 cups of coffee of any kind is too much. Maybe ask your doc how much is OK for you. DH is under 10 per day.

going in to make the split pea soup.

Depends on what you are looking for...just liquids/no protein I ALWAYS have herbal teas onhand...low sodium broths are ok (Not my fav)...but you really need to be sure you are getting your protein VERY IMPORTANT during 5dpt and afterwards...so if you are looking for protein supplementation with clear liquids...hmmmm I may not be the best person to ask. Personally I LOVE the soups for days 1&2 on the 5dpt...go to the link (top left hand corner and click on it then go to recipes for days 1&2)...I also bought SF Philly Swirl popsicles{oops, forgot you said HOT}...can't think right now...lemme get back to you. BE SURE you have protein powder for shakes! Remember the 5dpt is for getting us "back on track" and the key for days 1&2 is to repair any damage done to the pouch and give it a rest hence the all liquid phase...but WATER AND PROTEIN are SUPER DUPER important during this...btw, herb teas count as water. I stuck with chicken broth and soup for days 1 & 2 for hot liquids. I did add protein powder to the soups for the extra protein. I made the sugar free pudding and also added extra protein to it. As for the shakes I used the Slim Fast Low Carb which had 20 grams of protein each.
