Well this is the third week I have been back on plan to get this weight off. The first 2 weeks I lost 10 lbs but this week I have stalled. I know from experience this is totally normal but is a point where most people give up because the weight stops comming down. I am not discouraged because I am not on a diet. I just changed what I was eating for the better. I am satisfied all day and therefore am not tempted by things I used to eat. Heck I even made sugar free lemon cheese cake pudding for a treat sunday but have barely touched it. (Sugar free lemon pudding made with half & half and whipped cream cheese). I'm not craving sugar and my blood sugars have finally stabilized out in the low 70s.

I have a huge addition in the back of my house I plan to start turning into a gym this weekend. I have a Body Solid G4I Iso-Flex gym that has been in my garage in boxes since last July. Last night I recieved the rubber gym floor squares to put under it to protect my new floors so I will be busy putting the gym together this weekend. Should take a couple of days since the thing is huge. I have a 30in TV I'm not using with a DVD player so I'm going to put it in the room and put an exercise bike in view of it. That way I can watch movies while riding or use workout videos. I'm going to get a mat for stretching this weekend because my vinyl floor can be slippery. My workouts will be Thursday nights, Fri-Sun mornings. Mon- Wed my schedule is to wierd and not enough time that I'm willing to give up for the cause. Four days has got to be better than nothing.

I'm not one for going to the regular gym. Even thin you won't catch me in tights any of the workout clothes. If I have to drive there, chances are I won't. I live in a small town and don't like seing people I know while I work out so I think having my gym setup the way I want in an area of the house I walk through every day will give me the best chance of success. I can workout in my pjs, cigarette in hand with coffee nearby. Sounds perfect for me. cool0012.gif

Everything you said sounds great except the cigarette in hand while working out. Sorry but I just had to mention that. If you are serious about taking off the weight through a smart exercise plan and you don't want all that expensive equipment to go to waste, try to remember that when working out, the only thing you drink are sips of water if you have to have something and you certainly are shooting yourself in the foot if you smoke while exercising. You can't increase stamina while puffing on a cigarette. Please do yourself a favor and leave the smokes in another room until you are finished.

I am not lecturing here, just concerned as a long time smoker who has quit more times than I can count.

Is the cig & coffee line a "funny"? Or are you serious? Curious.

As for the gym...I go, but I assure you that you'll NEVER find me there in tights!!! Yikes! No...my style is an oversized t-shirt and some cut off sweats. A good pair of sneakers and a hat. I'm there to get good and sweaty! Regardless, no matter where you are, as long as you are getting your heart rate up at least 6 days a week, you're doing better than the majority of America!

The cigs and coffee were a joke. Guess you have to know me.

The visual on that is hilarious! You sound like my kind of girl - only it would be a margarita in one hand and a chocolate in the other!

Toris, I figure any movement is better than none at all. I am never going to be an olympic champion nor a serious health nut. So I say lets grab our cigs and chocolate and get moving.

Make that tea and a KFC fried chicken breast <original recipe...I am a simple girl>, and I am there too! <that was a joke btw..lol!>
