1. What was your most comfortable style of knickers and what size were you wearing pre-op? Honestly, none of them were comfortable. I wore the biggest size that LaneBryant sold and had to have a very high cut leg because my hips were so wide. Tried a thong once...Lane Bryant makes them for the big girls! That thing got lost for a while...recovered it, but not my dignity.

2. What was your bra size pre-op compared to today? I was a 56 DDD, but really, the bra that I had didn't support me at all. It just sort of kept them from falling to under my arms. Today, I'm a 34...22 inches smaller! My cup size has gotten bigger, but that's because of implants.

3. What style of knickers are your favourite day-to-day wear now and what size are you down to? My favorite are the thongs by Hanky Panky. One size fits all. Ladies...if you haven't tried these, I've got to tell you, they are super terrific!

4. What style do you wear on other days for a change? For a change? I put on a fresh pair...

5. If you're not ready to get too skimpy yet, what style would you like to be able to wear further through the journey? N/A

6. Have you bought yourself some nice new lingerie yet? If so describe it. If not, what are you dreaming of buying? I had to buy all new bras after my augmentation. Unfortunately, my size is not the norm, so I've got to spend a ridiculous amount of money for my bras. They are European brands and quite fun! I did try on a racey piece while in Vegas this past fall. I think that it was $300!!! Too much money for a piece of lace, but lovely. That would be my "dream" purchase.

7. Final question, what does your partner think?! I'm not married, but the boys that I've dated are...appreciative.

I was wearing Venezia cotton undies from Lane Bryant, and I'm not sharing the size

Goddess lacy bras and I'm down 2 inches & a full cup size

DH & I were just looking at some things last week & I showed him some very pretty lacy boycut (I think that's what they're called) panties that I am planning on wearing when I get down to a reasonable size. I plan on lots of color & lace...I'm a girly girl.

He liked what I showed him. He has always said a woman is much sexier in pretty lingerie than naked. It gives a man some room for guessing & imagination.

1. What was your most comfortable style of knickers and what size were you wearing pre-op? I wore cotton/ lycra hi-cut granny panties from Lane Bryant. ICK!!!!! They were as comfy as I could get.


2. What was your bra size pre-op compared to today? When I was 19, I had breast reduction surgery. I was a 48 G. I had 5 lbs removed 2 lbs from one and 3 lbs from the other. After the swelling went down I was a borderline B/C depending on the bra. I gained weight after, but not in my chest. I have lost a bit of fullness, but nothing major. I rock a 40 C. I have a great rack!

3. What style of knickers are your favourite day-to-day wear now and what size are you down to? XL Body by Victoria HipHuggers from Victoria's secret. Their hi-cut briefs are fun too!

4. What style do you wear on other days for a change? I change it up by wearing a pair of clean panties everyday!


5. If you're not ready to get too skimpy yet, what style would you like to be able to wear further through the journey? A thong. I can't get past the notion of thongs being butt floss and if I wore one it might get lost in me bum. Someday, i might try it!


6. Have you bought yourself some nice new lingerie yet? If so describe it. If not, what are you dreaming of buying? I love Victoria's Secret bras and panties a bit too much. I should buy stock in the company!


7. Final question, what does your partner think?! I am happily single. However, I have never received any complaints!

1. I did most of my chonies shopping at LB for anything that wasn't white and cotton and big. I stayed big after having Leo so most of the stuff in my drawer was stuff that I was able to wear while 9 months pregnant as well. I either wore cotton briefs or high cut sides briefs.

3. My faves are boys shorts. or low cut bikinis that are high enough still to cover the bottom of my apron.

5. Oh I can't wait until I can just throw on any pair and not care how they cut across my extra skin. Chonies have to hit just the right spot or I have hang over. A tummy tuck is the only fix for that.

6. The most fun I have had was going into Freddericks while on my Vegas trip and just being able to pull down a medium bottoms black with bright red bows that tie on the sides and know that they would fit! The bra shopping part wasn't as fun but it was still cool just knowing that they would have something that would fit me without trying it on.

7. I still haven't purged ALL of my big chonies out of the drawers. I still have some old huge cotton white things hanging around in there. Les used to say he likes being able to know which underwear are mine while they are in the basket. Not having to hold them up to find out.

46D then, 36C or D now depending on the make.

Anything lacey and NOT cotton, I still like hi-cut. Size 6!

Are you kidding me? After 40 years of marriage, he is just happy that he doesn't have to work through layers of fat anymore. That's probably what kept him so slim all these years!

I was lucky that I was getting away with only a 40DD. Actually now I am down to a 36/38 D.

1. What was your most comfortable style of knickers and what size were you wearing pre-op? Pre-op, there was no such thing as a comfortable pair. I went to Catherine's, and just grabbed the biggest thing they had...they go to a size 6X I think?

2. What was your bra size pre-op compared to today? Pre-op 56EEE, today 48DDD...and will be around the same til I have these babies nipped and tucked and all that stuff!

3. What style of knickers are your favourite day-to-day wear now and what size are you down to? I now wear whatever is comfy...but mostly boy shorts...and the size...let's just say I am not depriving my daughters of enough material to make a quilt!

4. What style do you wear on other days for a change? There are times when working out that the most comfortable kind to wear, is granny panties!

5. If you're not ready to get too skimpy yet, what style would you like to be able to wear further through the journey? Bigger girls can get skimpy too! I have gotten alot more self-confidence since losing this much weight, but I still look forward to V.S. trips and my credit card crying!

OK all you girl cheaters who want to pretend to be me and seem to be obsessed with my underwear, this is as good as it gets...

1. What was your most comfortable style of knickers and what size were you wearing pre-op?
The kind that keep your denim jeans from rubbing your butt raw. I used to wear the size that fit comfortably around my waist and didn't cause wedgies.

2. What was your bra size pre-op compared to today?
Don't know. I haven't worn one since 1980 (See question 6), and that was the only time. Never needed a "bro" or a "manzeer" either.

3. What style of knickers are your favourite day-to-day wear now and what size are you down to?
I guess I'd have to say that I am still quite fond of the kind that keep your denim jeans from rubbing your butt raw. Now I wear the size that fits comfortably around my waist and doesn't cause wedgies.

3. What style of knickers are your favourite day-to-day wear now and what size are you down too? On the days I need to wear something sensible (mostly for support) it's still good ol' cotton full briefs size M - L.

4. What style do you wear on other days for a change? Other days, especially weekends, its G Strings or boy leg boxers.

5. If you're not ready to get too skimpy yet, what style would you like to be able to wear further through the journey? G Strings and boy leg boxers every day when I don't need to support my jelly belly
