action-smiley-065.gif Hi all!
I want to allow myself a guarded bit of excitement this morning.
At my morning weigh-in I registered in at 153; 9lbs less than when I
signed up here in this great Neighborhood of ours! Being relatively
close to goal, it's been slow but steady. I'm focusing on the steady
aspect of the loss and KNOW that had I not been working the LAWLS
program, I would have continued to gain; following no rules; having no
resources; having NO ONE to talk with or run to when excited or bummed out
or for any reason whatsoever! So now, here in the this "safe haven of friends"
I find the daily guidance I need... some rules that make sense and unlimited
support. What a difference. Thanks to all of you and to Kaye of course for
giving me exactly what I was lacking in the previous 5 years, post-op.
I want to break that 150 mark and be back into the 140s again.. but today,
I'll be happy with my weigh-in & follow the rules ...
Protein First
Stay Hydrated
No drinking with meals
Do something active
(treadmill for me)
The rest will follow...
Thanks for all the support and camaraderie! love0028.gif

Hi mickee! What great news this is. I also see that you are sensible about it too! When you get so close to goal, it is easy to be impatient and get discouraged. With all the interaction here in the neighborhood, that just isn't going to happen! I can't wait to see your progress!
