OK i have ate salmon patties since i was a small boy many many moons ago. They were always topped with a nice cheese sauce. Well since i am being a good boy i needed to mod this a little bit. I must say i liked the result better then the original so i figured i would share.
First The new patties
1 can Salmon
2 green Onions (chopped)
1 egg
salt & Pepper to taste.
No i de-bone an take the skin off as that my preference you don't need to,
Then squeeze all the liquid you can from the salmon. ( This eliminates the need for cracker or crumbs) aka evil carbs
add one egg and green onions.
Fry till golden brown in some good oil of your choice.
Now the topping
Sour cream
milk
Dill weed
garlic
salt and pepper
Mix the milk an sourcream in equal parts I used about 1 tablespoon of each
add salt an pepper to taste
mince garlic fine i used one clove as there is never to much garlic
sprinkle dill weed to taste also
Mix well and spoon over patties an serve.
