I gotta say I cannot relate to you guys with the chills! love0028.gif
It might well be my age but I am all finished with hot flashes
and the like. This is a clammy sweaty heat cool-smiley-013.gif that made me
turn on my air conditioning the other night. The outdoor temp
was 39 degrees. I just couldn't get cooled off. This happens to me every
now and again. The last time this happened, I broke through a long held plateau
to a weight I haven't seen in quite a while. These weren't the hypoglycemic
sweats with the shaking and dizziness. Just unbearable sweaty, clammy... yucky hot!
Is it a revved up metabolism? Too much protein? Anyone else experience
such events? Maybe a few years out from WLS??? love0054.gif I'd love to know.
Jules
Hi,

Not me!! I'm cold all the time. I'm curious to see if anyone out there is hot like you. The subtitle under your post made me laugh!!! "not that kind of hot!"

Sweaty chilly hugs to you!!!

Well Jules, I don't know which is WORSE!
Too hot or too cold???
I think no responses means I'm in a class
all by myself sad0049.gif a lonely, sweaty gal!
How sad!!!!!

I have to agree, I hate to be too hot or too cold! I'm sure you're not alone, everyone is busy I guess!!!!

I was cold all the time after surgery but now (it may be hormonal) but I get so warm. I use to love to wear sweaters and turtlenecks, but now I get to hot. T-shirts for me.

I weigh in on the chilly side of things. Sorry!

When I first had my surgery, I was cold -
but since then, I am usually warm - with a few hot flashes thrown in
to keep me on my toes.

I dress in layers - never know when I will be burning up or comfortable.

I would rather be cold than hot any day!

My husband had WLS 5 years ago and he sweats a lot of the time...
It boils down to the fact that we are all different and as we move on in
life our body changes for many reasons.

I guess we all need to accept the changes that life deals us.

Blessings! nature-smiley-001.gif

Mickee, I have to agree with your supposition: YOU ARE in a class all by yourself! And since that class is a sauna, better take a towel and a chilled drink!

Sorry I can't offer more support than a lame joke, cuz I do care....

never too sweaty for a hug!

I am menopausal and I have times when I am cold, and times when I am hot. So I dress in medium clothing and when at work roll my sleeves up when hot and turn on the fan and roll my sleeves down and turn the fan off when cold. I think that it is my hormones. I would dress in layers until you figure out another way.
