I had so much fun shopping for you today and hope you like what I've selected based on the information you provided me. Thank you! lol So once I was finished at the mall, I made a stop at wallyworld to get a few items including a box and tape for mailing your schtuf. When turning out of the parking lot, I thought about where I'd stop to mail said parcel. There wasn't a post office between where I was and home, and I'd have to travel five miles back the other direction to the nearest USPS. However, there was a small shipping company located not too far from the farm. "I'll mail it there," I said to myself. Soon I was standing at the counter waiting to give the owner a few Washington's and asked her at the end of the transaction when it would go out. "Monday." "Monday?" (Not good I thought to myself.) I told her of my plight, ie., the commitment to send out the swap no later than 2/9. Going that extra customer service mile, she suggested I drop it in the blue box near the market's entrance across the road. "Perfect! Thanks," I said and headedoutthedoortothetruckdowntheroadtothefarm (I forgot to mail the box, dernit!) backdowntheroadtothebluedropbox only to learn . . . the package was too big! Too big! Mind you, it was too late to drive 15 miles to the post office. They were closed by some five minutes. Grrrr

Hopefully, our rural route mail delivery person (political correctness) will know the box in the bag hanging from the raised red flag needs to go out t'day! TO-D.A.Y! As in SAT-R-DAY! Not SundayMondayTuesdayWednesdayThursday or Friday, but SATURDAY, as in Saturday, February 9, 2008--TO-D.A.Y! If he doesn't understand or appreciate the urgency of my request? Well, it won't go out until Monday. Grrrrr All I ask is wheyour gift arrives, be certain to look at the date on the printed postage. It's the only forensics I have to present. ROFL!

I have also been in contact with Denise72 and Kaye and made my trip to the post office. My trip was not as exciting as others from what I read!...LOL!

ROFL! I'm happy to report the mail delivery person did indeed take the package today. He left the empty grocery bag in the mail box. He obviously understood the "urgency" from the note left on the bag. LOL!

I recieved mine yesterday from Denise72. It was 3 great Valentine's candles(1 large heart covered, 1 great smelling tin candle, 1 votive holder covered in hearts with a votive candle), some glitter body lotion and a protein drink mixing cup with some strawberry CIB---that's really gonna come in handy with my prescrbed diet right now....So thanks Denise!!!

Meg, Your swap is in the mail. I had a little bit of a difficulty with the shipping/post office. You know they actually have a post office at my work but they don't actually take parcels for mail (WTH) they only do certified mail pick ups and passport photos WAY weird. I have been officially spoiled!

Firstly I have to thank Kim aka Sarge for truly making my day. Not only did I receive a lovely present but I have to say I loved the packaging as well.

It may be common for the US but I have never seen postage bubble wrap bags with hearts all over them so the parcel itself made the trip to the post office to collect it, well worth it!! (The postie refused to deliver it to my house for "Security reasons" so I had to take the little card they left saying it had arrived to the post office to collect my parcel... so I had to wait another day to get it LOL.

Anyway...

Kim sent me an lovely red knitted cardy with a single button at the waist - very swish and definitely my favourite colour... I wonder how on earth you guessed Kim??? LOL It's a little bit tight but definitely will provide inspiration for me to hurry up and loose a few more kilos. It will be perfect as the weather here starts to cool down.

Along with my cardy (cardigan) I also received the most amazing Champagne flavoured lipgloss from the Napa Valley. I wish there was such as thing as smell-o-vision as it smells absolutely devine. Definitely smells like Champagne and makes my lips feel wonderfully soft and sexy!! My husband sends his gratitude as well!!

To finish my parcel off... a lovely card with a Napa Valley scene. I will have to keep both the card and the lipgloss away from my mother who is the wine Connoisseur of the family.

Buggerina: A few times each year the neighbors do a swap. You sign up if you want to take part. This time it was a valentine swap. We got a gift and sent it to the person whose name was drawn for us.

Thanks! I, too, am feeling great (except for this cold I have right now). My brother called today to report on Lynette's first chemo & was telling me that my BF's DIL was telling them how much she noticed the loss at Christmas. I can't wait to go back home soon; they will all be so surprised at the difference.
Have fun in the office. I've been running mine alone for nearly six months. My new agent will be in the first of March. It will be nice to have someone else in the office.

I received my swap gift from heckmom a few days ago. It was a WillowTRee From the Heart Keepsake box and a scented envelope sachet, makes my computer room smell heavenly. I loved her card, it was a musical one that plays Girls Night Out. Which is so approiate as my grilfriend and I are going to see Menopause the Musical tomorrow night. I got my gift yesterday as the post office couldn't deliver the day before due to the snow! It was beyond perfect! I cried! I love the lighthouse block! I have it on my desk at work so that I can look up from my computer and see it always. And the little notes are also on my desk so that I might spread the word! Thank you so much!

I already added the figurines to my collection of bears in my glass case...I have had this collection for years...but these are the first heart bears I have!

I had a wonderful surprise waiting for me in my mailbox on Saturday. Boy, were my guys jealous! I can't wait to pamper myself a bit with the scrub and I love the socks!
