So many times when you each had different ideas about what you wanted to do, how to work together, who filled what role and when, and on and on. But, the two of you have worked together and are showing everyone what a dedicated couple can do when they both put their minds to it.....

Ya know, the other day i had a young friend (younger than you Marla! 15 to be exact) who asked about The Band because she heard about it on Oprah. I told her all that she wanted to know and more, then she said that compared to what I had to say it sounded more glamorous on Oprah. I would still do it in a heartbeat just to have the control over my life....well ok, Pearl has 1/2 the control just like any good relationship!!!

And Doug, ironically isn't it just like you described??... we are banded in our marriages to our signifigant others-- and as WLS patients, we are banded to out tool...

I want to Thank you all again. You have been a huge part of my success so far!!!
