Well, came home from hospital on Thursday. Had by-pass surgery on Tuesday. This is the first day I felt like doing anything. I'm on liquids until I go back to the Drs. on Wednesday. What an experiance this has been!.

Hi Mike!
Congratualtions and welcome to the losing side of this little journey!

Let your body rest, sip every waking moment, and walk around at least once an hour...my advice to you!

Terri

Welcome Mike and congratulations on a successful surgery...now it's up to YOU!

As for feeling crummy...well, just take one day at a time..make sure you get your water in and if you can get up and walk outside a bit...then DO SO! Of course i'm in cali and we have SUN and warmth now....for a minute anyway....but if you cant get out..do LAPS IN THE HOUSE!

This will help you heal faster and keep your blood flowin' along with NO CLOTS!

HANG in there...soon you'll be smiling from ear to ear as the pounds fall off!!

GOOD LUCK!

Glad for your little report, Mike.

We're all scooting down the losers' bench to make room for you.

Take care, follow dr's orders, and get healed up. You'll be feeling much better very soon!

Congratulations Mike! Let the journey begin!!! Do NOT give in to any urges to get all ambitious and clean out the garage or anything, ok? Your body needs solid rest to heal properly. Taking care of your health NOW will mean less chance of problems later!

So glad that you let us know you're home and doing ok. I'm very happy for you and yours

Thanks everyone for getting back to me. It was a little rough after surgery, but each day I'm getting better. I don't know what I expected but it wasn't all this. But it is over now and now it's on to a new beginning. Thanks for thinking of me.
