Hello everyone, Just thought I'd drop in and say thanks for all the input and possitive notes from you all. I am doing great and have lost 83 lbs. since 10/23/07. No more acid reflux, no more high blood pressure, no more borderline diabetes, no more sleep apnea and I'm wearing clothes that I have been saving for over 30 years. The,re even back in style now. (LOL) I love this sight. All of you are so full of good advice and encouragement. I am here everyday checking on everyone and learning new things. Thanks again for being part of the reason that I had WLS. Ed

Mighty fine job, Eddie. Less stress on everything, scoot included. Look forward to hearing when those last 20 disappear.....Really great job.
PS - I live in South Carolina, now. I miss living out west just for the bike riding. The canyonlands was always one of my favorite rides. You're a lucky man.......

Thanks to you all, You are very supportive. I have never experienced so many nice folks in one place. I would have never believed that anyone could lose that much weight that fast. It is unbelievable to me.
Nancy, I have several bikes. The one in the avatar is a 2001 Indian Centennial Chief. It is my favorite. It is basically a Heritage Soft tail, packing the Indian name.
Doug, This is a great place to ride. So many great areas to tour. Yes, I do feel lucky living here. Thanks!
Sandi, I am doing no different than everyone else. From what I have learned here, some lose it faster than others. I eat protein 3 times a day. I can't eat much. I'm sure all of you understand that. I speed walk 2 miles every morning, about 1/2 hr. Thanks again to you all, for caring. I consider you my friends. Love, Ed

Ed congrats on a great job.
Is riding the bike any easier without those 80+ pounds?
Am hoping to find riding easier, not to mention looking better riding mine (grin).
My husband bought me two different Corbin seats trying to make the long rides easier for me, God bless his heart....but the only thing that is going to get a seat to fit is a downsizing of my tail end!
Keep us posted. You're an inspiration.
