So I’m on day three, I’ve had a lot of hunger during my 2 days of 5dpt, but I know that it is because I was (am) a Carb addict. I was going to do a 3rd day of liquids but it is too much for me. So, today I had a soft boil egg and a protein bread (no flour bread) toasted. That is what I had after my WLS, I did liquids for almost two weeks because I had a leak, so I was not able to eat solids until the leak healed… ok, so today eating the egg and toast filled me up!!! I felt my pouch and that is what was needed, getting in touch with my pouch. WOW what a great filling, to feel full… I’m loving it

I am 10 years post op… and trust me it has been a while since I’ve felt my pouch. Due to all that snacking, I just snacked all day long; it is the way to regain the weigh… I call it the Snacking Zone. I will tell you the truth, I used to work out 6 days a week and dance 4 nights a week, so I was able to eat what I wanted, but then 3 years ago my life took a turn and I stop doing all the exercising, but kept on eating and here I am 50 pound heavier. I do not weigh myself because I found it made me loca (crazy) So I use my clothes to tell me that I’ve lost weigh. I do now that I’m weighing in at 185 because I went to the doctor two weeks ago… when my size 12 jeans fit lose on my waist I’m down to 178.

I need all the support I can get

I’m still new to moving around this web site. So I don’t know if I should say thank you to every reply. So I’m saying it ahead of time. Thank you for being here for me

That's great that you're starting to feel your pouch work.

Hey, I just realized that you're in Northern California too! Way cool. We'll have to have a regional hugfest at some point...hmm...maybe SONOMA?!?! Just tossing it out there...

I think that it's super that you're so motivated right now. Losing the weight is excellent, but feeling in controll is even better!
