You guys rock!

Thanks for the reminder of doing what I did in the beginning. The funny thing is I did just that. I went back to my journal, which is quite extensive. I started it in 2002 and journaled about the process of before, during and after my surgery. I'm very grateful that, for the most part, I discussed my eating patterns (or lack thereof) and I did this before. It was quite awhile before I could eat solids which is why I experienced rapid weight loss.
My best food-friends were chicken soup, yogurt, lemon water and protein drinks. I've used my protein shakes for each meal since that egg experience. It feels soothing, I'm getting my protein, and I don't feel tired. So for now, I'll stick with that. I stayed up late last night reading my journal whick is about 80 pages long with pictures and all. I printed a copy at work and brought it home with me. It's amazing to look back and be able to relate to my mindset back then. I just have to be more aware this time because I do have the habit of losing weight quickly, and I don't have much to lose, my concern is that I don't lose more than I need to before I'm able to introduce solids again. I guess I can be extreme. So, I must watch that.
So, thanks for your support and I will try to incorporate soups since they feel good in my pouch. I have such a negative response from food when I dump that I try at all costs to avoid it. Well, that's what I did in the beginning, but somehow, I crossed that line and began massaging my pouch with unhealthy foods and picked up weight. So, I'm glad in retrospect that I am getting back in touch with my pouch and listening to my body.
Hence, the purpose of this pouch test. Duh!
