Hi everyone ~

My name is Diane and I had my surgery just over 8 years ago. Last May I had a beautiful baby girl and since delivering I have been struggling to lose the baby weight plus an additional 20 pounds I had gained prior to getting pregnant.

I have been quite depressed because I'm a bit worried that I've stretched my pouch beyond any hope of it shrinking again. I feel that I have ruined this wonderful I've been given.

If anyone has any suggestions I welcome them. I am planning to do the 5 Day Test in hopes of regaining the pouch I love so much!

Hi Diane and welcome to the neighborhood! Congratulations on a lovely baby. What a treasure children are!

As for your pouch, the 5DPT will prove to you that a pouch is NEVER unredeemable. You will be amazed at the results and the control you have at the end of the five days as long as you play by the rules. Remember it is only 5 days to regain all that you thought you had lost. You do the work, the results will follow! Best of luck to you!

Hi Diane! sign0016.gif

A couple of months ago, I wrote something very similar! I put on weight after I got married, then got pregnant - 4 years later I was at a loss (50 lbs above my "normal" pre-baby weight and DESPERATE!)...until I found this site and did the 5dpt! I'm now BACK ON TRACK, the carb monster is gone and I've lost 17 lbs!

You're in the right place! Hop on that 5dpt and you'll be amazed how quickly you'll gain back control.

Make sure to follow it to a T - and don't mess with it. It's a TEST of your pouch, not a diet plan (although weight loss can't help but happen).

Good luck and Welcome!!!!! cool0012.gif

Hi Diane,

You will love it here, lots of advice and support. I think the 5dpt is just what you need! You will be amazed to be so "aware" of your pouch again. Try it, you'll like it!!! Ask any questions you need to and read all about it and get prepared, mentally and foodwise before hand. And check in here for support. It helps to know others are doing it with you.

Congrats on your daughter!!

Good luck and again.....welcome!!!!

Diane,
Welcome to the neighborhood. Glad you've moved in.
You are going to find that your pouch is just fine. I haven't heard of one person, who followed the 5DPT as it is written, who hasn't been happy they did it.

Diane,

If anyone's pouch was stretched, it was mine! I had regained over 70 pounds.
I then found this site. The 5DPT worked wonders for me. I now have my pouch back and have lost all the regain. Start it as soon as you can!

And welcome to our neighborhood!

Did you do the 5dpt more than once?
I'm currently on day two. So far so good!
