I can't believe I am actually going to post this... a year or two ago, Ethan (brother) and I had a crazy idea for a tv show. Our idea was for a reality show. I changed it a bit for my Fun Friday answer.

Sitcom: Underneath the Burqa.

Premis: The show candidly follows a bored small town girl, Molly, who wants to see how small minded the people in her town really are. Molly is fed up living in a small town with small minded people. She is a carefree, down to earth girl with a heart of gold and the desire to live life to the fullest and stir the dust a bit. She decides one spring day to don a burqa everytime she goes out. She goes about her day to day life underneath the burqa. No one outside her family knows who this mysterious girl is! Each episode is a new adventure! Underneath the Burqa is a roller coaster ride of adventure and fun.

Sitcom title: "Muddy Water"
What's it about?: A small town girl who works in a water treatment plant and is recently divorced, a little fluffy, and determined to enjoy her life again. She has recently moved in with 2 old highschool buddies, 1 who is a bum (male) that thinks he's a shrink, and another who is stick thin and constantly trying to fix her up with anything that walks ("hair of the dog they say"). It encompasses her daily comical trials and tribulations as she goes through her day at the water treatment plant and works to find herself somewhere in all the "muddy water" of her life.

Hello everyone I am brand new to this group, actually this is the first time I have gotten logged in successfully.

I would call my sitcom "Regular Jane"

The sitcom would be about your every day run of the mill woman, name of Jane of course, who is a full time student. She gave up her career to take care of her family and is now working her way through school and take care of her family. Her goal is to become a lawyer, but she sees that she is very long way away from that goal. The story will go mainly off the day to day happenings of her famliy (who are anything but normal). There is the teen age boy, who thinks he is one of the Beatles (hair and all) who is in a garage band and thinks they are the best thing out there. Then there is the teen age girl, who is lost in her own identity. She wants to be liked by everyone, but still finds it hard to be herself. She is a tomboy because she thinks that it will make boys like her more (wow, is she ever wrong). There there is the baby of the family, a 3rd grader who is a comedian, and everyone likes her. She is the "life of the party". She is always trying to steal the thunder for everything.

Based on my real-life adventures with my best friend, MJ. About two stay-at-home moms who are the funeral dinner ladies at their church. There will be a new & amusing adventure every week. The name of my fabulous exciting new show is : On my couch.

The Premise, is about a man who sits on his couch continuously and watches nothing but reality shows and infomercials. Well because unfortunately they haven't made reality shows 24 hours. In actuality his remote is lost somewhere in the couch and he is too lazy to get it so he just watches whatever is on the channel famous for more reality shows that any other. He also enjoys the reality shows that are pretending to be reality shows. This man's name is James, but he prefers J, it is just easier to say, less words.

You are currently wondering how this man survives, like many men survive...living with their mother! Oh yes, in the basement. He likes it because it already smells, so his stinkiness can't really make it much worse.

This is really it, this is the show. It is touted to be the next big Survivor. It's very nouveau.

My pen name is : Ephedra Guarana, and I sometimes dream about time to sit on my couch. But who has time when you are zipping around and you are a fabulous young (heh) sitcom writer.

Itsa Wonderful Lift

Based on the true life adventures of wls patient and plastic surgery nurse, Terri, who, inspite of her tall stature, large frame, and loose skin, takes a job in the plastic surgeons' office. Day after day, she faces the antics of naturally thin women, unsatisfied with their appearances, and self -absorbed life-style, all the while she is working for seniority and tenure, in order to receive her much needed total body lift at half-price. In her adventures, she finally acheives her goal, while coming to the epiphany that some women are never satisfied with their looks. She in turn has discovered it truly is a Wonderful Lift!

My sitcom is called "Once upon a time rewind."

Once upon a time there was a very thin young lady. She was so active and happy. She could run as fast as the wind and give all of the boys a run for the money. But low and behold life took a tole on her body and she became ever so overweight. Her life was being strangled out of her. She could no longer do the wonderful things she used to do. Misery showed on her face. Her inner self was buried under a coat of fat.

Be glory be a wonderful doctor gave her hope. He went into her body a did a little rewinding of her insides so that she would lose this burden she has carried for the last 15 years. Therefore her life is in the rewind mode. Rewinding to a earlier time in her life.

Remember you can rewind. This is my tool to rewind. I can only hope when I get where I want I can pass this wonderful gift to someone else who is in need of it.

Oh Connie...that made me tear up...<sniffle>. How sweet and true. This IS our tool to rewind...recover...and learn to RELOVE ourselves....and I thank you for reminding me of that.

Plot.....a fat cow loses its weight due to WLS and is now able to enter the NASA program. She experiences exotic relationships with spoon, plates etc. and learns not to fill them up or use them quite as much as she use to. Unfortunately, she is lactose intolerant and her quest in life is to get people to stop eating ice-cream and switch to soy milk. Her best friend is Penelope Pig and they get caught stealing eggs from Henerita Hen. Her adventures include is to see if the moon is really made of cheese.

It might compete with Sponge Bob? Maybe for the Saturday morning group.

2) My sitcom would be centered around her home, her family and the picket fence in the side yard that has a sidewalk on the other side. All walks of life come by the picket fence and talks with her as she works in her flowers. Children fear her as they have been told she has buried someone in her flowers that she killed with a spade. Someone told that story when they overheard her say she had buried her "old life". They misunderstood and thought the "old life" was her husband! As her friends and family come to talk with her, everyday life takes over!

Dating 101

Dating 101 is about a woman (me!) who begins dating at the age of 40. She knows how men REALLY think, because she has been the "buddy" to many during her lifetime. She knows the secret winks and such. So, while dating these men, they just can't figure her out. How does she KNOW how to trigger certain thoughts? She confuses the heck out of them and makes them second guess their "moves". All the while, she's giggling about it to herself. Her FAVORITE line is, "You know that you got where you are in life because of how you look". *wink-wink* Oh, this sends her into hysterics every time. They haven't got a clue...literally.

Premise: a group of strangers meet regularly in an online weight surgery forum to discuss their most humiliating memories, digestive problems and bathroom habits. They don't realize that because of the wacky stuff they are saying online, thousands are getting their hope of having a healthy life back. Regular appearances by funny, endearing characters are peppered with ribald wit and hilarity, but there are frequent poignant moments where the characters pause to reflect on how far they've come, and what life is really all about.

Pilot episode: chaos ensues when the online group decides to all buy English Egg Coddlers....

Sitcom: Lighthouse Mouse

Premise: (Pilot) Takes place in a lighthouse is off the coast of Northern Oregon.
It's about the antics of two Cats, Tiny and Big Foot and a mouse named Harold.
The Mouse (only know by the cats) causes all kinds of trouble, with the cats as "accomplices", stealing food,
knocking over lamps and chewing electrical cords.
Molly (an out-of-towner from the East Coast,) is the new light house keeper and believes the property is haunted.
She loves her life and her job at sea and is not willing to leave.
Her boyfriend, Billy, lives on the land side, he owns a bait shop in a small Oregonian Village.
The only access to the light house is by boat at high tide.
When Molly is convinced that she is not "alone" - The hilarity begins as Molly (played by Janine Garofalo) tries to make sense of all the chaos.
Billy is played by Mark Wahlberg a native Oregonian merchant who
has to convince the suspicious town-folk that Molly is not losing her senses.

It would be about a couple of guys being chased by a nutty Texas sheriff while hauling a truckload of illegal beer throughout the south to make a delivery in Atlanta. The Bandit meets up with a runaway bride who joins in the chase.
