Hi there...please help!!!!

1. Is there any such thing as dried coriander and if so...WHY can't I find it in the stores anywhere? <I swear I heard Rachel Ray at some point say that there was another word for dried coriander..a different spice...UGH!>

2. What is the site that you get your spices at? I don't want to do anything too expensive...or that I will have tons of when I don't use alot.

Any suggestions and advice will be SO appreciated! Thanks!

Marianne, I am so sorry that I didn't get to this sooner. I have been working on the new cookbook all day.

First, dried corriander is CILANTRO and you can get it dried in just about any spice aisle of any grocery store. If not, try the ethnic section where the Mexican spices are.

and I purposely placed the link on the page where you can just buy spices in a jar. Remember too that you can store bulk spices in a freezer indefinitely. The jars you get are about the size of the ones you get at your grocery but they are so much better. These people don't cut or grind the spices until an order comes in. The downside is that I think there is a minimum of $30.00 to place an order.

I know they have cilantro at wally world...yay! I will also take the link <ty>, and peruse the site this weekend while I have time and order some things to 'play' with in recipes. I love cooking indian foods, but can rarely find the spices up here...so this is exciting!

I will be spending some time this weekend making enough food for the freezer so that if I need up to a week off of cooking 'duty', then the family won't starve..lol. I love 'cooking weekends'!
