I have a couple of baking pans I bought from Wally World a few months ago. These were the metal pans. I have one for meatloaf and another that is about 1x8x12 like a bisquit pan. Yesterday I was washing the bisquit pan after having made baked chicken in it. The bottom of the pan looked like something was stuck on it. I started scrubbing it with a green scrubby and noticed this semi clear stuff comming off. There were big sections already gone which is why it looked like something stuck to it. It had. I tossed the pan right then. I don't know how much of this stuff ended up in my food. Gonna only buy pyrex or ceramic from now on for baking.

Yeah, this is a sad thing. You pay for something only to find out that it isn't going to last. If you buy non stick, stick to good quality with a guarantee or just buy ceramic. Ceramic is the original non stick. You would be amazed how easily ceramic bakeware cleans up with just a short soak in soapy water.

That's why I love my corning wear baking dishes. Hugs.
