So, as it nears the end of day 1, I have been surprisingly well today. I only felt hunger a couple of times and it was easily settled with some water. I did split pea soup and sf pudding for my meals along with a touch of unflavored Unjury in everything.
My question is this...when we get to day 3, are we adding these foods on, or switching entirely? I mean, do I continue with my soups and pudding and start adding scrambled eggs, or do I give up the liquids entirely and go only for the soft proteins?
And lastly, what is day 6 like? So, you've managed to survive the test, now what? Is it hard not to slip right back into the behaviors that brought you here in the first place or is the success so exciting that you feel empowered to stick with the basics we were all taught from our first post op days.
Thanks to any and all responses. I'm really thrilled to get to know everyone and become a frequent member. I have the best success when I can communicate with those who are gong through the same issues as me. The other board I was always visiting ended up too far off topic from WLS that it no longer felt like a support group.
