action-smiley-065.gif Life has been crazy this past year. I thought it had been longer then July that I have been on here but anyway that is way to long anyway. In Aug I was taken back into the hospital because of depression so in Oct of last year they ran A LOT of test and found out that I am bi-polar type 1, severe depression, and severe anxiety. I have been playing with my medication since then in trying to get the right "cocktail" persay.

I have gained more weight because I have NO energy. I noticed yesterday that my left hip HURTS when I walk almost like a burning sensation. I know it is my weight because on top of that the place where I have to go through is arguing with me about the insurance. I have a letter from the insurance that says I can have this surgery at any time but they are telling me my insurance won't let me have it for 12 months after starting their program in which I have to have $400 to start.

This does not help with the depression at all and I have to go to a psyic evaluation because I am trying to get disabilty because of the mental and my doctor is telling me to add my weight and asthma to that. But if I get the 400 I will take care of the weight part.

I don't know just wanted to drop you a line and tell you all Hi and give you a little bit of what is going on that I have not been around.

T,
Sorry to hear you are having a rough time. Depression & being bi-polar is tough and trying to get your WLS on top of that is downright hard! I hope it will all work out for you. Is there another center that might work better with you for the WLS?
Wishing you well!

Hey T--

Nice to hear from you again. Sorry to hear the struggles. I'm sure things feel pretty hopeless right now, but stick with the process and don't let go until you get the results you want. It will be worth it. And we are here to support you.

Best wishes,
Kaye

Just having your disorder diagnosed must be a great relief. I am sorry that you are having so many troubles and hope that you will continue to pursue both your surgery and relieving any other health issues you have.

Please don't wait so long to visit in the neighborhood. We are a very caring bunch who can at least listen and offer our experience to help.
