Good morning :) I'm Linda - I had my RNY in Sept. 2005 and am currently down 135 lbs. cool0012.gif I was a member here for a while but never really contributed - I read everything. I recently feel as tho I have been slipping a little sad0017.gif - the scale remains the same but I can feel my clothes (size 10 down from size 26) fitting differently. I know I slacked for a while (5 months of a while) - I stopped going to the gym, stopped walking and basically thought that nothing could go wrong - the holidays came and went with promises to myself that January 2nd I would get my butt back to the gym - it just didn't seem that I had the time...well thankfully I woke up Monday morning and realized that this is about ME and I needed to MAKE and TAKE the time. So - I joined a new gym and hired a personal trainer to kick my butt and get me back on the right path...I will never be 300 lbs again - I cleaned out my pantry last night and my fridge - all "bad" food is gone. I started back on my protein shakes Monday morning and have been having 2/day (breakfast & lunch) and then dinner...I have gone to the gym 3 days straight now and am working this week on cardio - treadmill sport-smiley-009.gif and eliptical and yesterday I tossed in some upper body weight training (just a little) - hopefully by Tuesday when the personal trainer sport-smiley-018.gif takes over I won't hate him too much tongue0011.gif - life is good (I think, lol)

So that's my story - or the base of it anyway - just wanted to introduce myself and say hi! It's good to be back and know that there is support out here....

It sounds like you are back on track and ready to go.

Isn't it amazing...I think that we all go through that "invincible" stage. We start to eat a little more and our bodies hold steady and we think...ah, I'll be thin forever! Not so.

Good for you. Good for you for coming back. Good for you for cleaning house.
