I am new to the website and run until the website by mistake but I had the gastric bypass surgery 14 years ago on the date of my surgery I weight 438 pounds over the years I lost 160 pounds but also over the years I gain back 64 pounds of my weight I have bad eating habits and never really change my eating habits and I thought my pouch was not working so I went to another obesity surgeron to see I can get the surgery done again so he had me get my stomach check inside he said my pouch is still working but I have make the pouch for me so I planning to try 5 day pouch test but I am afraid I will fail at it and wonder have anyone out there had any success with the plan Thank you for input.

I think everyone here when we got here thought we would fail the 5dpt. But what I found was that there is some GREAT support here. If you can MAKE YOURSELF JUST DO 5 DAYS, you won't fail. It's only 5 days. By the end of the 5 days, if you follow the program to a T, you WILL be back in control of your eating and the carb monster will be banished. The only way to fail is to not follow the program and to just go back to your normal "thing" after it's over. I've found that it's a lot easier to just avoid the foods (that I no longer crave BTW), than to have to do the 5dpt again. Get your mindset in the right mode (YOU WILL SUCCEED AND BE IN CONTROL) and then HAVE AT IT!

Good luck! A group of us just started today, so if you hop on tomorrow, you'll only be 1 day behind! cool0012.gif

Blessed190,
Welcome to the neighborhood. sign0016.gif I wish you the best as you do the 5dpt and get back in touch with your pouch. You can do this. Follow the WLS rules and get that weight down.
