I just went to my Dr yesterday. I had previously had an EGD because the Dr thought I had a stricture. That was two weeks ago. Yesterday I told the Dr. I often feel like there is food stuck ready to come up even hours after eating - and having drunk water. He said I have a stricture - again/still. He wants me to go on a liquid diet for TWO MONTHS. I thought it was hard when he had me on a liquid diet for about a week. How am I going to do it for two months? Does anyone have any suggestions to help me?
Curious how going on liquids for two months is going to fix it...?
Is that all that was said?
You'll need to investigate and ask the Dr. more questions.
What caused it, can it be fixed, will you be able to return to normal eating and when.
Maybe it's inflamed and needs to relax?
There are some terrific soup recipes on this site - over-the-top good.
Lots of choices if you need that liquid diet
All our best - let us know if the Dr. said more,
it's of interest to all of us.
Blessings!
