All items must be clean (wash them before you send them) and gently used

This is a great idea!! I dont have alot of big clothes left. I will look and see if i can find some. If I do they would prob be a size 20w, I know I have some straight 16 blk pants I cant fit. I am too curvy for them. What I great project for this weekend!

Too bad no bras. I have some nearly new ones I'd love to find a home for. I will check to see what else I can come up with.

I have gotten some amazing clothes from swaps at the bandster bash. I can understand the no underwear and socks rule, but I have gotten some nice, nearly new bras at the bash, and donated some. (I have even gotten some very nice lingerie.) With the weight coming off this way, sometimes I will wear a bra once and it doesn't fit properly anymore. And I have some I just wasn't happy with the fit and they sit in my drawer.... brand new. Just my opinion, but maybe you could reconsider this rule as long as the bras are truly, gently used (or new).

What about that idea about the bras Marla, Lynn? I tend to agree about new or only worn once or twice bras if people are willing to accept them. Undies? NO WAY!

Ok... I am changing the rules. Bras that are new/ unworn may be swapped. Bras that have been worn once or twice may be swapped.

Underwear and socks are a negative!

Thanks! I was dreading sending expensive suits and stuff to the thrift stores up here. I watched them throw out bags and bags of clothes one day because they didnt have time to go through them all...and not to be mean, but alot of the clothes I have I only bought at Catherines or Lane Bryant because they were the only places that FIT me...and I cant see throwing away that much of an investment when someone here can find them useful!

I will also be going thru my closet soon so be on the lookout for size 18/20 or 1X's!!! I was wondering what I should do with all of the clothes I have.

What a great idea!!! I gave all my larger size cloths to our church, they had a free sale. That is everything donated people got for free. I myself found some cloths there. But I am sure there is some size 14/16 in my closet that dont fit me any more. I wish I could say I have new bras to put in,but that is one place I havent lost very much wt in...HEHEHE. Which is weird. I will keep my eye open at what everone has.

I have a closet full of black evening gowns from performances. All were worn once or twice, all are in excellent condition, and range in sizes from 6xl to a size 20.

I also have never used bras with tags still on them ranging from 56EEE to 34CC <I didnt know what size I would be, so cleared out the lingerie dept at my favorite store Catherine's when they had their end of season sale> The only size unavailable in that range is 46DDD.

I also have jewelry made to match each outfit depending. If there is something available that matches the outfit you want, I will send it as well.

These swaps help me so much being an "incredible shrinking", single mom. I know the rules are that the sender pays shipping, but I would be willing to pay the cause I really appreciate this. I will be posting some stuff too.

No problem Terri! I love the idea of someone getting use out of the gowns...I never had the heart to take them to goodwill when I shrunk out of them, and the idea of someone else enjoying them makes me happy! I have 8 black ones sizes 20 - 24....do you have a preference as to neckline? I have one that has an asian theme to it with three tiny buttons on the side of a high neckline...3 that have rather <ahem> plunging necklines for the not-too-faint-of-heart...<hey, I was on stage!>, 3 regular v-necks <one that has a black velvet belt to it and the other two fit the 'basic black' theme>, and 1 that has a rounded neck to it, but the back is held together by three ties until you get to the tushy area, where you suddenly have fabric again..lol! I wish my camera doo-hickey thing worked...but I cant figure out how to download pictures...and my bh hasnt been home to do it for me. I will as soon as I figure it out. So, that said...any preferences?

I have four bras that size that I will send...<one which is missing the tag..I took it off when I tried it on, but it was too small <sigh>.

The red dress has been spoken for already...but I found a burgandy one in another closet upstairs...same design and black piping as well...would that work? <this one has a side slit up to just above the knee>

With my build and height, the more plunging necklines sound nice. Hey, with my new figure developing, also comes a self esteem I have never had. ;) The burgundy dress sounds nice too.
