I just have to say that after 16 mos. of watching the scale creep up and up, this morning I finally saw a loss!!! I know it's because I've been on liquids for 2 days and chances are since I'm starting to eat solid food it might creep up just a tad or whatever, but that's ok. Just seeing the scale down was such an important thing for me. I've felt so discouraged for so long and just these two days of taking back control have made me feel amazing!! I can now walk right past the Mayor McCheese of my office who conveniently has a bowl of candy always sitting on his desk, and think nothing of it. Although, I must admit yesterday I had to go to Target and to get to where I needed to be I had to walk right by the Cadbury Creme Eggs and the Peanut Butter eggs...I swear my mouth was literally watering. But I made it, I feel great...and hopefully a few months from now these 20lbs will be gone!!

Congrats on making an effort to get control! Doesnt it feel great !!! And I so know what you mean about finally seeing the scale move! I felt just like that when I did the pt and finally saw the scale move down after mos of strugling! And to know that I could control what I ate and make better choices that would make me healthier feels great!

It is amazing how you can so easily slip into bad habits. The thought "oh, it's only one little piece, I'll be ok" is what has been killing me. Sheesh...if only this surgery really was a magic pill like all those naysayers keep saying it is. But alas, upward and onward!

Thanks!!

You will succeed! It's surprising how the scales moving a little can be motivating. Keep up the great work cool0012.gif
