Ouch! Good work-out!

Re: Bread - I can't buy it because I don't have any strength to stop eating it... lol
I do have a slice of 7-grain toast once in a while if I am at a restaurant . . .

Here is a Glycemic index - it explains how certain breads turn into simple sugars (which is a no no for us WSLers - dump city)

Great you found one that has 6 gms of protein.
What brand is it, I will investigate for you..

:-)

HI NANCY ITS ARNOLD DOUBLE PROTEIN BREAD.

ARNOLD DOUBLE PROTEIN BREAD

Here's the breakdown... http://www.thedailyplate.com/nutrition-cal...ber-wheat-bread
Lot's of carbs and sorry to say, there are better ways to get protein.

It's "only" 90 cals - so if you can put it in the freezer and only have every once in a while, maybe no harm...
But keep a watchful eye on your cravings and intake - it may turn into a monster... (my own experience lol)

Nancy, good to see you back!

Re: bread

Bread is one of my gateway foods, I rarely buy it, because like Nancy said once I get it it's all gone.

Deb,
It's not the calories or the NUMBER of carbs.. My
prob is that I'd be slathering on butter and jam before you could say
uhhhhhhh... "STOP THAT!!!" A little makes me want a lot. That's just how
I roll... And the cycle of craving starts all over again for me. Not worth
it for me personally.

I eat 100% whole grain, whole wheat bread with a protein filling and it works for me. I have it a couple of times a week. Just keep the bag in the fridge so it doesn't spoil. I know I won't go crazy on this bread cause its not white and that is what I crave.
