The Weinerman and I were involved in a head-on collision Monday night. I was driving and a young man crossed into our lane and hit us head on. Thankfully, we were all wearing our seatbelts. I know that in doing so, we were spared serious injury.
I went to the ER with "seat belt injuries". But the main reason I went, was to be checked out because I have a previous neck injury. I wanted to make sure that I didn't reaggrevate that. (I didn't)

So glad you are all OK.
I have made a habit of not allowing my car to move if anyone isn't buckled up. Research shows that this does save lives. Those who say, "Yes, but they can cause death, too" may be right at times but statistics say that more lives are lost without them than with. Also, an unbuckled driver is more likely to lose control than one wearing the belt, thus putting him/herself and all passengers in danger.
OK, I'll crawl down from my soapbox now.

I am just glad you both are fine.
I love my seat belt. It is a part of me.
Love you.

I'm so glad you're OK. Thank God.
I always wear my seatbelt and like Jeanie refuse to move my car if someone inside does not have a seat belt on.

Wow Beth, I am so glad that you are all okay. As for the seat belt, it has been a law here in Florida for over 15 years so I have come to strap it on automatically.

I am so glad that no one was seriously injured...
Thanks for the reminder about seatbelts. I also dont allow the car to move without everyone buckled, but have been guilty in the past of not having that include me...just the kids. This is something I have been changing lately.

Oh my gosh Beth! This is the first that I've seen this. I'm so sorry and sooooo thankful that you and your husband were okay and you're here to post about it. My goodness...scary stuff.

Thank GOD you are ALL ok!
Thanks also for the HEADSUP and important reminder!!
I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt and make others as well!
I too was hit by a speeding driver who ran a red light and broad sided me on the drivers side. Yes, I was driving and 3 months pregnant. Unfortunately, my seatbelt came undone and I was injured pretty bad. Luckily, the baby was fine (my ONLY concern)and I recovered from my injuries. That baby is going to be 14 this summer and I STILL have permanent injuries that are still apparent today.
So YES! Wear ONE! It CAN SAVE LIVES!!
