It's ALL NEW LAWLS Thursday Night Live Chats!

We're thrilled to see so many folks coming to the chat lobby lately!
We started out small but keep on growing. EVERYONE is invited!
New friends, seasoned WLSers, EVERYONE!

Here's what's NEW! When you come in to Chat, we now have TWO choices!
The Lobby will be where you enter ...This is the center for hanging out with
friends you'd like to get to know better... general chatter will take place in the Lobby.

If you're new or want to focus on getting information or opinions in a more serious
focused way, you're welcome to jump to mickeefynn's info kiosk!

Hopefully, this way everyone can get what they want or need out of this
time when we can gather and share!
It's simpler than it sounds and perhaps this Thursday's chat session will just
consist of jumping from Chat room to Chat room for practice. We'll see how smoothly
it all goes. But I hope this will draw more members into chat to get
precisely what they're looking for!

More tomorrow... meanwhile, set aside Thursday 8:00pm EDST to gather and enjoy

Mickee...what a great idea!

I think this will benefit everyone...especially those that cannot make it into chat at 8 exactly...and by the time they are able to join us, the serious topic has been discussed and the neighbors have moved on to chatting and catching up...with them perhaps in need of more serious conversation! I like having the option to chose which I need at the time!

I have a question or rather a suggestion...

Is there any chance that chats like the serious one mentioned above, where there is a high possibility of some really useful information beins discussed, being copied and posted somewhere so that it can be referred back to by those unable to attend???

I am ask this for purely selfish reasons as I would like to attend but...
a) I am yet to work out what 8 EDST is in NZ time
b) It's probably Friday morning our time and I will either be still asleep or at work already

Paula... I hear ya! What a great idea. Copying the informational chat and posting it
would depend on if private issues were being discussed.
I have tried to copy and save here several times before and have only caught parts of the discussion..
The result? content is very tough to decipher. Chat transcripts are tough to read back, if you've ever tried.
The conversation threads get all entangled even between two people let alone many.
But I'll see what I can do short of hours of editing. Great idea!

And Barbara S.... So glad you can make it again this week! It is great fun! And you add so much, you
wise and crazy woman you! *I* say, it's time you set up a time to tell the rest of us to meet YOU!
This thing goes both ways! Who says we have to only get together once a week?! Let's do it!
The Lobby is open 24/7 and if we all know a specific time that was best for you, I know we'd try to make
the scene! Wooooo Hoooooooo! When you have a time nailed down post an obvious shout out to the hood!

and anyone else who has some info they'd like to reread after the chat or have the chat sent to them.... Google Talk automatically will save your chats in the chat folder of your account--if you have a gmail email account and use Google Talk. It works like a charm. Maybe that can be an option for a super serious chat--until the wizardry of the Tech Team can work up some magic of it's own.
