I am having a problem...and originally I thought it was my laptop which is cranky at times, but it happened on my pc too which I just bought and have never had an issue with.

Sporadically during perusing the hood, I get logged out. It happens at least 5-6 times each time I come in <a few times a day>, and lately everytime I write a response and click the post button, it tells me I cannot do that because I am not signed in...so then I resign in, and my message is gone...so I have to rewrite it.

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Marianna,

Do you use Foxfire as your browser? I know I have rarely an issue with Foxfire but I had issues with other browsers....

It logs me out to. I use Firefox. I have to back up, select all my post, copy it, then sign back in, then go back to the thread, and paste my post.

Hmmm... I had this happen once before. Alas, I don't know how to fix it. My money is on the tech team for the answer.

I dont know about firefox...I get here by aol...

I really dont want to add anything else to this laptop unless I have to...I need a new one, hence buying the pc...but I love the ease of having this wherever I happen to be sitting.

I know that they do have this issue with AOL. Is there an icon for IE already installed to use after you've signed in through AOL?

FoxFire is much smaller than AOL as a browser... maybe it is overloading your RAM? Help TechTeam!

I have IE on the laptop and pc, but it is just so much more convienent to use aol, since I am generally on there handling the business portion of my life...(Sigh).

Techteam...I think I am a dunderhead!

I talked to Scott and he suggested tinkering with your cookies - the calorie free kind - the privacy settings as instructed below. Let us know if this helps.....

Thanks for the help everyone.
